Situation
This evaluation of the LeadLab Programme’s first cohort commissioned by EUD (Inter-European Division) aimed to measure the impact of the online LeadLab pilot programme that focuses on the development of key leadership competencies for training future generations of leaders and provides some recommendations for the improvement of further activities of the programme.
Solution
In our past project, we used a co-design approach involving direct engagement with stakeholders (pastors and administrators) to evaluate the effectiveness of the programme. We implemented an outcome-based approach by conducting a retrospective survey to identify the results and relevant changes that occurred after the various contributions of the programme’s participants. Additionally, we adopted an impact approach, highlighting the impact of the programme within the targeted community and across the covered country. Using the OECD‑DAC criteria—Impact, Relevance, Effectiveness, and Sustainability—we answered the evaluation questions and assessed each dimension. Data collection was carried out using both qualitative and quantitative research methods to provide a comprehensive understanding of the programme’s outcomes.
