Situation

CLM-EP wanted to measure the impact of the undertaken humanitarian action in populations affected by extreme poverty, income insecurity, inadequate WASH facilities, and social marginalization among extreme poor households in Haiti, Fonkoze.

Solution

FIFE provided an evidence based study through conducting a Quantitative impact evaluation analyzing baseline/end-line survey data across 119 female EP participants testing 4 hypotheses.

  • 1 Measure baseline to end-line changes in livelihoods.
  • 2 Measure baseline to end-line changes in WASH.
  • 3 Measure baseline to end-line changes in asset control.
  • 4 Measure baseline to end-line changes in household respect for participating EP members.

Outcomes

  • Confirmed significant economic empowerment (multiple income activities, stipends).
  • Improved WASH access.
  • Elevated social standing.
