Solution
FIFE conducted a comprehensive mixed-methods study including household surveys, community mapping, stakeholder consultations, and secondary data analysis. The research examined socioeconomic conditions, service gaps, and community priorities to inform evidence-based programming.
Objectives
- 1 The study investigated issues affecting educational outcomes, focusing on two primary areas:

School Dropouts within Minority Communities: The study objective was to understand the phenomenon of school dropouts within the Roma community by examining the factors contributing to dropout rates, specific challenges faced by Roma children and youth, and the impact of these trends on the Roma community.
- 3 2. Early School Dropouts Among Girls in the Majority Population: Here, the study aimed to assess the obstacles faced by the majority population relating to early school dropouts among girls by exploring the root causes and consequences of this phenomenon.
Outcomes
- The research provided insights into the impact of significant events, such as the earthquake and the COVID-19 pandemic, on school attendance and online learning that have created difficulties and gaps for regular school attendance. It also explored students' experiences with psycho-social services, where most of them recognize it as a service, homework assistance preferences that children need their parents to assist in the preparation of assignments but that they do not always have their support
