Lack of empirical data on why theology graduates do or do not enter pastoral ministry or leave ministry after a few years.
Solution
In order to find a solution FIFE is offering a technical support through a 2-segment research design: Segment 1 (institutional data query on enrolment/graduation); Segment 2 (Quantitative online survey of former theology students).
Objectives
- 1 Establish empirical data on matriculation rates.
- 2 Establish empirical data on pastoral entry rates.
- 3 Establish empirical data on career choices among theology alumni.
Outcomes
- Empirical evidence base to inform church leadership and theological training institutions.
