Mary Ngikadelio Longor is a development practitioner with over five years of experience working with non-governmental organisations in protection and gender programming. She holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies, specialising in Gender, Intersectionality, and Development, from Theologische Hochschule Friedensau, Germany, where she also served as a Teaching Assistant. Throughout her career, Mary has collaborated with organisations including Johanniter International Assistance and ADRA Kenya, supporting the design and implementation of gender-sensitive programmes, facilitating trainings, and strengthening community engagement. Her key area of interest lies in measuring gender outcomes — developing and applying gender indicators and advancing gender monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess progress toward equality. Her work bridges research, advocacy, and practice, with a commitment to ensuring that gender inclusion is not merely a policy goal, but a lived reality.
