Dr. Jill Philine Blau is a researcher, lecturer and consultant. She researches on commons & commoning, work & affect and questions development from a feminist and intersectional perspective. She works with humanitarian and development practitioners and currently heads the M.A. Development Studies Online program at FAU. She has written extensively on collective land use in its interface with pastoralism and gender. She consults public and private actors in the fields of commoning and social justice.
