Practical tools for purposeful ministry.
Plan church projects with confidence, support your teams, and learn how to improve your work. FIFE is developing two practical courses for pastors, elders, ministry leaders and church teams.
Courses are planned on the campus of Friedensau Adventist University and online. Register interest in either or both courses. Dates, fees, teaching languages and further details will be provided before you make a binding booking.
Pastors, elders, volunteer leaders and teams responsible for congregational projects. Conference, union and departmental leaders can also use the courses to support staff development. Individuals and teams of employed and volunteer leaders are welcome.
Two separate offers. Register interest in either or both.
Course 1
From ministry idea to a workable plan
A worthwhile idea needs clear goals and a realistic route to delivery. This course will help you organise tasks, involve volunteers, allocate resources and follow through.
A plan for a real ministry initiative, including objectives, responsibilities, resources and milestones.
Course 2
Understand what is working—and improve your ministry
What is already working? Where do people or programmes need more support? This course will help you gather useful feedback, review progress and make better decisions about programmes and projects.
A simple monitoring and evaluation plan with learning questions, appropriate evidence and next steps. Evaluation supports learning and responsible stewardship of people, time and resources.
Learn and work together at Friedensau Adventist University. Allow for travel and, where needed, accommodation. The booking information will explain which services are included in the course fee.
Participate without travelling. Session times, time zone, technology, interaction and attendance requirements will be provided before booking. Each offer will specify its teaching language and delivery format.
Evidence, learning and practical improvement.
The Friedensau Institute for Evaluation brings together evaluation, research and training. FIFE works on assessing and improving projects, programmes and organisations. Its approach emphasises evidence, learning and practical improvement. This perspective informs the planned courses.
Interested in attending but need help with course fees?
Let us know. FIFE can provide course information for a conversation with your congregation, conference or organisation.
An enquiry is not a funding commitment. Financial support depends on a separate agreement.
Would you like to support an individual or group?
Discuss suitable courses and formats with FIFE. We can prepare an offer for your internal consideration. A dedicated group may be possible by agreement and within teaching capacity.
